The workshop successfully concluded on March 15, 2024. We would like to express our gratitude to all participants for their enthusiastic involvement.
In the morning session, the course covered the management of ISO 9000 series instrument calibration, with a special focus on introducing ESG sustainable development.
ESG stands for Environment, Social, and Governance, with the lecturer providing detailed explanations of each aspect. Additionally, explanations were given regarding ISO 14064 (carbon footprint verification) and ISO 14067 (carbon footprint), elaborating on the five major process steps for conducting product carbon footprint assessments (process mapping ➔ system boundaries ➔ data collection ➔ carbon footprint calculation ➔ uncertainty). This provided participants with a deeper understanding of the connection between ISO 9000 and ESG.
The afternoon session introduced the usage and maintenance of temperature, humidity, and pressure instruments. Through practical demonstrations, participants gained a better understanding of the characteristics of these instruments and the precautions to be taken during operation to avoid measurement inaccuracies.
